Overview

This three-day course combines classroom instruction and hands-on training spread over two half-days and two full days. The course focuses on various aspects of asphalt pavement construction, including delivery, placement and compaction of asphalt mixtures, random sampling procedures, and computation of pay factors for asphalt pavements.

Completion of the Radiation Safety course is a prerequisite.

Fees, Refunds & Deadline

Registration fee: $650/student
Written retake fee: $150/student

Participants are responsible for housing, food, and transportation. Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration. Registration closes two weeks before the course start date or when the class is full—whichever comes first.

Cancellations received at least two weeks in advance will be refunded in full. No refunds will be issued after that date, though participant substitutions are welcome.
